Daniel Clark- District First Aid Officer

I was first introduced to Royal Rangers as a 4th grader in Pioneers.  After a few years out of the program, I returned as a Trail Blazer at Lakeside Assembly of God in 1977.  I earned the Gold Medal of Achievement in 1983 (the night before my 18th birthday—so don’t give upJ).  This was approximately 6 months after earning the Eagle Scout.  I joined the Frontiersman Camping Fraternity (Fellowship) in 1981.  My involvement as a Commander was primarily limited to campouts and occasional other duties while in college.  But I began helping full-time in 1990.  I have served my outpost as Trailblazer/Trailranger Commander, various Lt. Commander positions, and Outpost Councilman.  Currently, I serve as the Adventure/Expedition Commander.  I have also served as Children’s Church leader, Sunday School Teacher, and various other capacities.  On the Section level, I serve as the Section 9 Training Coordinator and Area Commander.  I also serve as the District Health and Safety Officer.  I have served on staff for several Pow Wows and other RR events.  I am an Ordained Minister with Rose Assembly Fellowship.

In 2005, I helped present a National Training Camp in Kenya.  I am excited about the enthusiastic reception of the Kenyan people and the Kenya Assemblies of God.  God is birthing an amazing ministry in Africa.  During that same trip, I took the Instructor Certification Seminar in order to become a certified Royal Ranger Instructor.  This enables me to help other Commanders start or improve their outposts.

In 2006, I served on the National Camporama staff in the hospital.  As a Registered nurse, this provided an opportunity to minister to the health needs of hundreds of boys and men.

I believe that the Royal Ranger program is one of the best tools available for helping boys become Men of God.  Although involved in several other ministries at Lakeside, Royal Rangers is my passion.
