Ronn has been involved in Royal Rangers since he was a Straight Arrow in 1977.  He grew up in Royal Rangers, earning his Gold Medal of Achievement (#1497) in 1988 at Carbondale Assembly of God in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He was the Oklahoma District Trail Ranger of the Year for 1988, 1989 and 1990.  Ronn became a Lieutenant Commander in 1990 and an Outpost Commander in 1993.  Ronn is the Senior Commander at Shepherd’s Place Community Church in Norman, Oklahoma and also serves as Section 9 Sectional Commander, an Instructor Trainer of the Leadership Training Academy (LTA) and Deputy Coordinator of the Oklahoma Junior Leadership Training Academy (JLTA).  Ronn has also served as a Sectional Training Coordinator, District Productions Coordinator, and Deputy District Commander.  He has participated in two Royal Rangers mission trips to Russia.  Ronn is a police officer for the Norman Public Schools Campus Police and has been married to his wife, Martha, since 2001.
